With great enthusiasm, the Stafford Township Education Foundation recognizes our 2006 Award recipients and the Ocean Acres Garden Club, Michael Kossove, Jeanne Marie Burke, Valerie Sweeney and Kathleen Fennell. Organizers. The application for the creation of the Ocean Acres Garden Club has received the greatest support, as one committee member articulated, “Because the project will bring together a variety of modalities, give the children hands-on learning experiences, as well as a sense of pride in their school and community.” This 2006 Project received a seed gift of $2,095 and has, since its inception, generated additional interest and support ranging from the local environment commission to the Stafford Township Education Association, an NJEA affiliate.
Congratulations to all those involved.
