The
Stafford Township Educational Foundation has undergone many
transformations since its original founding many years ago—the Hall of
Fame, the Stafford Township School District Foundation, and finally the
Stafford Township Education Foundation.
Today,
as an independent non-profit organization, the Foundation works to realize
a much broader mission than in those early years.
The
Stafford Township Education Foundation is committed to establishing and
maintaining a positive partnership between the Stafford Township School
District, the business community and the residential community. The
Foundation strives to provide life-long educational opportunities that
assist children and adults to achieve their full potential.
At
the heart of its mission remains a dedication to supporting the mission of
its local public school district; the Stafford Township School District
and the Stafford Township Education Foundation share a common belief that
every child has unique interests, aptitudes and talents that must be
nurtured.
To
help realize its mission, the Foundation identifies and secures financial
resources and develops partnerships that provide experiential programs
that extend life-long educational opportunities. The programming of the
Stafford Township Arts Center and the OceanFirst Theater, the annual Young
at Arts artist residency program and Art Show, the Stafford Hall of Fame,
and Stafford Child Care Services (Preschool and Extended Day, Summer Camp)
are all aspects of the Stafford Township Education Foundation.
